I take great joy in my work. I provide support in developing mindful awareness, emotion
regulation techniques, and self-compassion to help empower clients. My goal is to
provide positive intervention to help people achieve their greatest potential both in their
personal and professional lives.
Education and Training
I have experience working with children, teens, and families. I am a
nationally certified counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. I hold a
Master’s degree in School Counseling from Seattle University, a CACREP-accredited
program. My B.A. is in Psychology from the University of Washington.
With extensive training in multicultural counseling and significant involvement working
in diverse communities, I am known for my warm, caring and nonjudgmental nature.
I practice a variety of techniques to better cater to my clients. The evidence-based
services I offer, provide aid in: Anger Management, Depression, Anxiety, Grief and Loss,
Social Skills and Life Transitions. I strive to engage in a collaborative treatment process
that provides options and satisfying solutions to specific challenges. I am also
encouraging of clients to work with their natural strengths and support systems.
