NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
***12/1/2020: As of March 2020, I am seeing all clients online or over the phone.***
You must check your insurance benefits before coming in so you are aware of your coverage and costs.
I am in network and accepting new clients with some plans administered by Premera and First Choice. It is up to you to verify if I am in network with your plan.

I believe in the power of my clients to build the lives and relationships they choose based on a blend of core values, passion, and desires. My stance is one of acceptance, openness, reflection, and encouragement. The intersection of love, sex, relationships, and creative expression is my clinical sweet spot.
On a general note, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Clients come to see me to work through grief and loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions (divorce, job changes, etc), and prenatal/postnatal adjustment and mood disorders. I love the energy of working with people through the crux of life change.
Education and Training
I have a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Seattle University. This Master's program is CACREP-accredited. CACREP is the premiere accrediting body for graduate counseling programs.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and I rely on Bowen family systems theory in my work with children and adults. I am trained in a variety of early childhood models including Promoting First Relationships, Child-Parent Psychotherapy. I spent two years building an infant and early childhood mental health program in a community non-profit agency, and my early childhood mental health experiences inform my work with teens and adults today.
Outside the office, I value time spent outdoors running, hiking, backpacking, climbing. I love music, movement and performance art. I love to adventure on my own and with my children, and my experience in motherhood brings empathy and perspective to my clinical work.
Fees and Insurance
My rate for 45 to 55 minute sessions is $160. First appointment assessments are billed at $220.
I have contracts with some plans under Premera and First Choice. This does not mean I am an in-network provider for your specific plan. I expect all clients to check their insurance benefits at the beginning of counseling and stay informed of any policy changes that may affect reimbursement for services. I will provide a statement for clients wishing to use out of network benefits to seek reimbursement from their insurance company.
Clients are ultimately responsible for any charges and fees not covered by insurance.
